Lab Assistant

Qualification & Experience: 
Diploma in mechanical/materials engineering.
Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in the field of material testing lab

Desired:
Experience working with MTS testing machines.
Familiar to use MTS Test Software such as TW Elite.

Please find below the roles and responsibilities of the Contractor requested for Material Testing Lab:

Job Responsibilities:
•	Assist in operation of servo hydraulic testing machines
•	Have awareness of ASTM standards 
•	Coordination with machining vendors on sample machining and generate composite samples as per ASTM standards
•	Inspection and testing of material specimens of various sizes, shapes, and materials.
•	Assist in performing mechanical testing and recording the test results from the test software 
•	Ensure safe, clean, and organized laboratory work area 
•	Assist in the operation the furnaces used for high temperature testing
