Lead Engineer – Mechanical Design (Airfoils)
Job Summary:
Join GE Aerospace Bangalore Engineering Center as a design engineer for the GE9X HPC module. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance High-Pressure Compressor (HPC) airfoil components, focusing on delivery, cost reduction, performance, and producibility improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, analyze, and evaluate HPC hardware for the GE9X program.
Execute technical projects on delivery and cost-reduction priorities.
Provide engineering support for manufacturing, repairs, and issue resolution.
Mentor junior engineers and drive data-based decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Mechanical Engineering with 2–7 years of experience.
Expertise in aviation engines, turbomachinery design, or product support engineering.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
