We have immediate need for 10+ years experience in Java, Microservices and AWS Solution architect requirement for Pune and BLR locations. Here is the JD.

Job Description: AWS Microservice solution architect
1) Technical skills
a. Ability to navigate and choose the right AWS offerings depending on critical solution requirements. Both regarding networking, data storage and computing.
b. Experience in common architecture patterns and practices in Microservices, CQRS, PubSub, Observability and streaming capabilities such as Rabbit MQ, Kafka.
c. Cloud native application design in Azure Devops .Net C# for AWS EKS/Openshift environments.
d. CI/CD, IaaC, knowledge of different testing-, branching- and deployment strategies.
e. Can take responsibility for a system portfolio, ensuring:
i) high level documentation and roadmaps towards target architectures.
ii) Application Portfolio Management (APM) including Service Recovery Plans, Service Impact analysis, Security reviews.
f. Know how to evaluate and do impact analysis of design decisions on solution level.
g. Can take part in the day-to-day squad activities being a sparring partner for the development teams and even lend a hand in development when feasible.
h. Ensure architecture compliance with enterprise architecture standards and guard rails.
2) Domain skills
a. Have worked in financial industry for at least 6 years.
b. Knowledge of Banking and Payment – especially cards domain.
c. Knowledge of compliance requirements in the digital banking domain, such as PCIDSS, PSD2, GDPR, etc.
3) Communication and Collaboration
a. An effective communicator who demonstrates good technical understanding.
b. Can provide architectures which span across development teams.
c. Personality which fosters a collaborative environment.
d. Can make decisions. Participates in the Architects chapter which decides on solution architectures.
e. Can build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, vendors and 3rd parties, as well as setting technical direction.
f. High Proficiency in written and spoken English necessary for this position.
4) Qualifications
a. Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
. Have had hand-on experience with development in cloud computing with AWS.
c. Minimum of AWS Architect Associate certification.
d. Minimum 2 years of experience from previous IT architect role.
Minimum checklist for candidate
1) Has AWS Architect Associate certification (minimum)
2) Have worked in financial industry for at least 6 years.
3) Has professional experience designing and developing containerized services: min 5 years.
4) Has had IT software architect role for min 4 years.
5) Experience with implementation of event driven architectures. Publish/Subscribe patterns and streaming.
6) Experience in building architecture roadmaps and plateaus.
7) Experience in designing complex infrastructure solutions according to industry best practices.
8) Deep understanding of Domain Driven Design, Bounded context and Microservice concepts.
9) High Proficiency in written and spoken English necessary for this position.
