Data Engineering Training Manager
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Data Management Training Lead to oversee and enhance our training initiatives across various technology stacks and certifications related to Data Engineering. This role is ideal for a return-to-office professional who is deeply committed to empowering others through training and learning but prefers to focus on their passion for knowledge-sharing over personal career advancement.
The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple teams to identify their training needs, work closely with the Learning and Development (L&D) team to consolidate and maintain training resources, and drive the success of certification programs.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development and Execution
Design, develop, and implement training programs tailored to various technology stacks and certification requirements related to Data Engineering.
Ensure training materials are current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards and organizational goals.
Deliver engaging and effective training sessions, workshops, evaluations/assessments, and webinars.
Collaboration with Teams
Engage with cross-functional teams to understand their specific training and certification needs.
Partner with team leaders and managers to identify skill gaps and propose tailored learning solutions.
Coordination with Learning and Development (L&D)
Work with the L&D team to consolidate, track, and maintain all training materials, resources, and documentation.
Ensure seamless communication and coordination for training schedules, certification programs, and evaluations/assessments.
Certification Support
Develop and manage certification pathways for employees, providing guidance and resources to help them achieve certifications.
Track, assess and report on employee progress and certification success rates.
Tracking and Reporting
Maintain detailed records of training participation, content utilization, assessment scores, and program outcomes.
Provide regular feedback and reports to stakeholders on the effectiveness of training initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on emerging trends in data management, cloud platforms, and certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, MS Fabric, etc.).
Suggest and implement improvements to training delivery methods and content based on feedback and industry developments.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Computer Science with 10+ Years Experience.
Proven experience in training, knowledge sharing, or skill development, particularly in technology or data-related fields.
Strong understanding of technology stacks, cloud platforms, and certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, MS Fabric, etc).
Being Certified on the latest technology stacks (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, MS Fabric, etc) will be an added advantage.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to consolidate and manage training resources.
Effective communication with strong listening and collaboration skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
A strong passion for helping others learn and succeed.
