Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrated ability to work within a medium-sized, collaborative project team

• Strong hands-on experience on GPDB or other Relational Databases in addition to ETL/ELT.

• Experience designing and building dashboards on Spotfire visualization tool for huge volumes of data.

• Clear understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and respective experience with its application in design and development phases

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring integration of work products into the larger team/function body of effort. Presents to senior leaders within direct organization.

You will engage key technical & subject matter experts (SMEs) across the business for knowledge capture into the solutions. You will also provide core product requirements to Product Management, Software Engineering and UX Design teams.

As a Sr Analytics Engineer, for Finance D&A, you must have a good understanding of Finance domain, the ability to quickly understand the domain and explain the requirements to the team for building Finance KPIs.

You must have good analytical skills to understand the business problem and envision a solution for the problem by leveraging the available data and the technology platforms.

• Apply a structured process to design and build new analytics.

• Develop a trusted advocate relationship with internal and external customer constituents. Serve as the communications hub and "source of truth" for applications of the analytics in Finance space. Ensure that all teams have correct and timely information they need in order to ensure successful delivery of analytics to customers

• Support the finance closing periods during month-end, quarter-end and year-end

• Drive repeatability in solution component architectures. Foster an environment that encourages innovation, creative risk taking, speed and agility designing and managing Analytics for Finance
